Seventeen Cuban migrants made a stop in Cayman Brac due to bad weather
and a damaged vessel, Immigration Department officials have reported.
The migrants––ten males, including an 11–year–old, and seven females,
arrived at Tiara Beach Dock, South Side, Cayman Brac at 3pm Friday.
After repairing their vessel, the Cubans departed Monday. Officials
monitored their departure and they were last seen off the West End Point
of Cayman Brac, heading in a south–westerly direction.
