Forces of the Cuban political police carried out a violent assault and a
meticulous search in the headquarters of the Democratic Party 30 of
November Frank País, located in the Mirador of the Diezmero, of the
municipality of San Miguel del Padron, afterwards they detained Reinel
Sanchez Calvo,member of the Executive of the 30 of November.
"Since the dawn hours of today March 6, a military deployment
surrounded de headquarters of the above mentioned party and between 10
and 11 forces of the state police violently penetrated the premises and
carried out a meticulous search confiscating all the
files of the organization, working equipment and other clerical means
and they arrested Reinel Sanchez Calvo and drove him to the police
Station of San Miguel" – denounced over the telephone from Havana
Elizardo Sanchez Santacruz, president of the Cuban Commission of DDHH
and National Reconciliation.
When Anaika Paneca Roman, vice president of the P-D-30N learned of the
arrest of Reinel she immediately went down to the police station
accompanied by a group of member of the party's executive to demand the
release of Reinel Sanchez Calvo.
On the other hand, it was learned that opponent Antonio Rosello who
was provisionally released from jail has been under arrest in this
prison for days, under the threat that he will be deported to
Santiago de Cuba this coming Thursday.
Activists of the Democratic Party November Frank País 30 in Cuba,

the human rights activist in Cuba.
