MIAMI - The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Kodiak Island repatriated 68

Cabanas, Cuba, Tuesday.

A Good Samaritan located a rustic vessel Friday morning with three
migrants eight miles southeast of Alligator Reef Light in Islamorada,
Fla., and contacted the Coast Guard. The Good Samaritan left the
migrant vessel before a Coast Guard boat from Station Islamorada arrived

were transferred safely to the cutter.

the crew of the USNS Lawrence H. Gianella of 13 migrants on a rustic
vessel 300 miles west of Naples, Fla. The Lawrence H. Gianella crew
rescued the migrants and treated them for mild dehydration. The
migrants were later transferred to the Cutter Elm.

The crew of the tug Ann T. Cheramie, located a go-fast dead in the water
July 31 with 18 migrants and one suspected smuggler 27 miles southwest
of Cabo San Antonio, Cuba. The 19 undocumented migrants were later
transferred to the Cutter Diligence.

A Good Samaritan located a rustic vessel July 30 with six migrants 19
miles south Marathon, Fla. A Station Marathon crew embarked the six
