Pars Wagon to export 650 train carriages to Cuba, Sudan

TEHRAN, Apr. 28 (MNA) – Pars Wagon Company is going to design and build
1,400 passenger and freight train carriages this year, 650 of the wagons
will be exported to Cuba and Sudan.

“Adding China to the list, company’s total foreign contracts will stand
at €70m for the year while the annual capacity for locomotive production
is set at 32,” executive director of this industrial pole, located in
the city of Arak, noted on Thursday.

Par Wagon Company is the sole rail car manufacturer in the country
established back in 1984. The recent export contract signed with Cuba
obligates the company to deliver 500 freight and passenger wagons in 20
