Flights from Bush Intercontinental to Cuba postponed

Flights to Cuba no longer require obtaining a special license, a
restriction lifted after President Barack Obama announced in December
that his administration would seek to restore diplomatic relations.
The first regular flight between Houston and Havana, Cuba, has been
pushed back, the Houston Airport System reports.
In July, Miami-based HavanaAir Charters said it and direct air carrier
partner Eastern Air Lines Group would offer weekly flights from Bush
Intercontinental Airport to Havana. The flight was originally scheduled
to begin in August, but the airline postponed the beginning date.
Bill Begley, a spokesman with the Houston Airport System, said in an
email that there isn't a definitive date on when the flights will begin,
though the airline said possibly sometime in September.
The airlines did not respond to a request for comment.
