The Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister has vowed that his country will stand
beside Tehran to confront 'US imperialism' and support its allies.
Marcos Rodriguez made the remarks in a meeting with Sa'id Jalili, Iran's
Deputy Director of the Foreign Ministry's Department for the Americas,
the Islamic Republic News Agency reported Tuesday.
"Cuba strongly advocates Iran's inalienable right to access peaceful
nuclear technology," he added.
The two sides discussed bilateral ties and cooperation in international
and regional levels at the meeting.
In addition to increasing political and economic links, the officials
also agreed to expand relations in culture, art, and sports.
