JetBlue Expands Cuba Charter Flights

JetBlue has officially launched its expanded charter service between New
York and Havana, Cuba.

The carrier is now operating a second weekly roundtrip charter flight in
partnership with Cuba Travel Services.

The new flights, which operate on Tuesdays, become JetBlue's sixth
weekly roundtrip charter route between the US and Cuba.

"More people are exploring the possibility of travel to Cuba with
government restrictions easing this year, and we are happy to
accommodate that growing demand," said Scott Laurence, senior vice
president airline planning at JetBlue. "We thank Cuba Travel Services
for trusting us to serve Cuba-bound customers with the JetBlue's
award-winning experience on their way to Havana."

JetBlue first launched its Cuba charter service in 2011, now flying to
both Havana and Santa Clara out of New York, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, Fla.

The company operates the flights on 150-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.

The flights use JetBlue crewmembers and offer the same JetBlue
experience as scheduled flights, including free Wi-Fi, free snacks and
soft drinks.

JetBlue became the first major airline to fly to Cuba from New York when
it launched weekly flights on Fridays over the summer.

"Cuba Travel Services is proud to further strengthen its partnership
with JetBlue by adding an additional weekly flight on Tuesdays from JFK
to Havana," said Michael Zuccato, general manager at Cuba Travel
Services. "This will bring more flexibility to our passengers wishing to
visit this wonderful destination."
