Food vendors bring delivery in reusable plastic and return to pick up
containers.

Soda cans become coin banks, with a slit in the base. The pushed-in tab
blocks the former drinking hole.

Tailors use fabric from old garments to make new ones. Stores sell used
clothes.

Repair shops abound for watches, shoes, tires and more. Many use old parts.

Women's magazines promote basic kitchen items as beauty aids - warm
vinegar for weak nails, honey and avocado to restore hair luster.
